I had fun making these loop animations for my Instagram account. #6Fanarts is a popular challenge among illustrators and designers on social media, it took me a while but finally, this is my entry.
// You can skip this part:
I chose 6 of my favorite fictional characters from movies, tv-series and animated series, I couldn't focus on just one "area"... The first character was the iconic Carrie in her bloodshed final scene, I haven't watched De Palma's original version in a long time, but those frames are stuck in my brain; then I moved to my love for old anime series so, of course, I had to go with Shun from the amazing Saint Seiya, one of the most underestimated characters in animation, period. The third fanart is dedicated to Tina Belcher, whom I adore. Tina is such an inspiration on how to carry on in life through adversities with good intentions and a pure heart... One of the most well-written characters in comedy (in my opinion obvs); Moving on, dedicating one of my fanart to Donnie Darko was mandatory, my 16yo self would have beat me if he didn't make the list. I still remember vividly the conundrum of feelings the first time I saw the movie, it took me 165 rewatch to figure them out and still I'm not sure. Edna Krabappel in the "she's faking it" scene in season 3 of The Simpsons is a masterpiece ( RIP Marcia Wallace), and a well deserved fifth spot, If you don't remember this scene I recommend visiting this link on YouTube; Finally, since we're close to the end of the year, I decided to pay homage to one of the series I discovered in 2021 (my bad) and that made me laugh so effin' much: What We Do in the Shadows. I devoured all 3 seasons and I want more. It was so hard choosing just one character, but in the end, it had to be Nandor.

I'm really overloaded with work lately, but this project was so fun I stayed up late at night just to finish these animations. Hope you like 'em!
